Reece has guest starred in television shows like Tru Calling, The 4400 and Smallville. He starred in the Canadian television show Zixx: Level Two as Dwayne in 2005, and voiced the character Simon Star in the animated television show Trollz in the same year. His biggest role came in 2007, starring as Hal Hefner in the independent film Rocket Science alongside Vincent Piazza, Anna Kendrick, and Nicholas D'Agosto. The film was well received at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.
Reece's upcoming film, Assasination of a High School President, is set to be released in late 2008. The film also stars Mischa Barton and Bruce Willis and premiered at the 2008 Sundance Festival.
